Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions you'll encounter while collecting signatures

Only registered California voters can sign petitions. Signers must provide their residential address (not a P.O. Box), print their name, sign, and date the petition. Each person can only sign once per initiative.

Complete our training program and pass the certification quiz to become an official Movement For California signature gatherer. Certified volunteers get priority access to events and exclusive resources.
